The Barn at Beal Campsite COVID-19 Measures
We very much look forward to welcoming you all back to the campsite at The Barn at Beal from the 4th of July.
All our on-site facilities will be open including the shared Toilet and Shower Blocks as well as our Restaurant and Coffee Shop. We anticipate this being a very busy time for us, so would like to give you as much information as we can, in advance of your stay. We are following all government guidance available to us, however, this is a new and unprecedented way of working and mistakes maybe made. If you do have any problems please raise them with a member of staff, rather than posting on social media. Small local businesses have been hit hardest by this pandemic and we are all trying our best. The safeguarding of our staff and customers, is our highest priority.
We ask all customers, to respect social distancing recommendations, at ALL times, on the campsite and whilst using our Restaurant and Coffee Shop.
On your day of arrival, you will be sent an email with the final balance to pay. We ask that you pay this online. This will generate a further email with all the details you will need to know, about the site, on your arrival. We will have staff on site if you have any problems but due to government guidance, we are trying to minimise contact as much as possible.
We ask that due to the extra measures we have in place, if you do have your own on board facilities, you use these as much as possible to allow others to use the shared toilets and showers. As we are having to increase the frequency of the cleaning in these areas, the showers and toilets will be closed between 7am-8am and 4pm-5pm for deep cleaning. During this time, we will NOT, under any circumstances, allow any access to them. There will also be regular sanitisation of the toilets, showers, waste areas, outdoor washing facilities and water tap. The buildings will again be closed at this time, but only for a short period.
We will have notices on the Toilet doors, requesting that only 2 people enter at any one time (unless you are all from one household group).
For the time being, our 2 shower blocks will be available to use, but we request that you use these as household groups also. This will enable us to allow more people access to them. They have been fitted with door locks, so each block is safe to use as Unisex showers cubicles.
We hope that everyone will try their best to keep each other safe and understand that this is very new, and we will monitor how it works to the best of our ability.
Restaurant & Coffee Shop
Our Restaurant will be open and serving food from 9am -4pm on a Sunday; 9am-5pm on Monday & Tuesday; 9am-8pm Wednesday – Saturday. Dining on the terrace is available, however, we are unable to make bookings for this, it is only available on a first come, first served basis. We are in the process of changing our menu and this should be available to view on our website soon.
